Dear Blogger
Message from Allison Walter, National Gardens Scheme publicityh.
A big thank you to all our supporters! Now that the NGS garden opening season in Shropshire has concluded, I just wanted to personally thank all our wonderful supporters, who, despite the difficulties of this year, have continued to support us and the charities we in turn support. We managed to raise about 40% of our usual year's income this year which was a tremendous effort from everyone especially our garden owners and team of volunteers who make it all happen, so thank you! Gardeners are always an optimistic lot and of course we are already working on next year's programme in Shropshire. Even through the difficult summer, we had new garden owners approaching us offering to open their gardens, which was very heartening. In the meantime, many of our gardens will open for groups next year, so why not take a leap of faith and book your private visit to a beautiful Shropshire garden in 2021! You're always assured of a warm welcome and group sizes can be from single visitors to larger groups - so please get in touch with the garden owner now. A full list of all the gardens open By Arrangement is listed below. Thanks again for all your support and stay safe this winter.
