Volunteers needed for reseeding heather on The Cliffe

Dear Blogger

Message from David Shearan.

Here's another opportunity to volunteer and this time it's on the Cliffe. We need a group of people to help with the
heather reseeding and it's going to take place on Monday 8 March meeting at the top of the Cliffe at 9:30 in the morning. We will be working with members of the Countryside team from Shropshire Council who advise that the current Government
guidance about Volunteering outdoors states that you can volunteer outside your home if: you cannot volunteer from home you follow the social distancing guidelines you've not been told to self-isolate by NHS test and trace you're not self-isolating for any other reason I would suggest that you bring face coverings for when we are gathered for a briefing. The work will involve spreading the heather seed by hand. It will have been previously mixed with sand to help the process. We will also be doing some raking but please only do that if you feel fit enough to do it. However if you can bring a rake that would be helpful. Please can you let David Shearan know if you can help by sending him an email at dave.shearan@icloud.com David
