DAMSON TREES ARE COMING BACK TO RUYTON XI TOWNS

This weekend 6 new Damson trees are being planted in our community woods, 3 in The Spinney and 3 in the Bridge Field. Read about how important Damson trees were to the people of Ruyton & North Shropshire in the past. Mark from the Westmorland Damson Association, who supplied the trees, says they will start flowering and then fruiting in about 5 years.
