Hello from us all at Qube...
We're busy planning events and activities for this year. Details of our upcoming exhibitions, including a Claude Cahun: Beneath this Mask touring exhibition from Southbank Centre, can be found here. Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding more workshops and courses online, from drawing and painting to pottery and dance. Are there any courses you would like to see in our programme? Are you a keen photographer? The deadline for our photography competition is fast approaching. The theme this year is 'Identity'. All entries will go on display in an exhibition at Qube. There's a £100 Best in Show prize and a £20 People's Choice prize! The under 16s winner will receive a selection of art materials. Deadline for entries is 12th February. Our social groups are as popular as ever on both a Tuesday and Thursday. As well as activities such as origami and quizzes, we are also inviting guest speakers to talk to our members about energy prices, money advice and local health services. Our Dial-a-Ride service is operating as normal too. If you struggle to access public transport and do not have your own vehicle get in touch to see if we can help.

There is just over a week left to see the beautiful exhibition by Michelle Woodward. Michelle is exhibiting a range of her printmaking works after winning the Qube Arts Open People's Choice prize in 2021. Pop into the gallery to take a look by Monday 14th February. Qube's Volunteer Centre can help you find a voluntary role to match your needs. We also provide free advertising for charity, social enterprise or community group organisations who need volunteers. Further details can be found here...

We've added new arts and crafts to our shop over the last few weeks. On display are a large range of cards and prints, glass work, paintings, jewellery, recycled crafts, textiles and woodwork. Come and take a look and support local artists and makers.

Lateral Flow Test kits are now available from our reception desk. Please do not come in if you have covid symptoms. Due to high demand they are currently limited to one box per household to ensure availability for as many people as possible. There are 7 tests in each box. | | | | |
