PLEASE READ PC Resident Questionnaire - the Future of Ruyton XI Towns

Dear Blogger

It has been brought to my notice that a Questionnaire about

THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF RUYTON XI TOWNS

is available on the Parish Council website and Cafe Eleven but I think should have been delivered to every house in the parish.  The questionnaire was also given out at the Parish Meeting on 26th March but it has no finish date and no explanation of the colour coding of proposed new building areas in the village!

The PC website gives the end date for completion as 5.30pm on 30th April which is very short notice for most people.

The map on Shropshire Counil website has a key which explains the SLAA - Strategic Land Availablity Assessment which I have added as an attachment.

The Future of our village is important to all of us and the questionnaire needs careful thought and very little time to do this.

Surely the last thing we need is more houses, especially as transport is so difficult for anyone wanting to get to and from work in town.  And who owns the suggested sites and why were they chosen?

What is most important to all of us is the traffic, more houses means more traffic.  Why do we have so many huge lorries coming through the village, to the detriment of the state of our road, especially along the Brownhill and constantly hitting the Platt Bridge?   Yet this is not listed in the questionnaire!

PLEASE COMPLETE THE FORM AND RETURN TO
