Market Hall's sizzling late night feasting and shopping event, November 18
Shrewsbury Market Hall kicks off the festive season on Wednesday November 18 when its cosmopolitan cafes and gift stalls open for a sizzling late night of feasting and shopping
The market's popular cafes and restaurants, ranging from seafood and Oriental to street-style and Spanish, will be offering both eat-in and special take-out dishes.
It is the night of the town's Christmas lights switch-on and ukulele band Community Uke will kick off festivities in the Market Hall at 5.30pm. There will also be complimentary warmed mulled wine and mince pies for shoppers and a Hunt the Father Christmas Competition for youngsters.
St Chad's Choir will fill the air with Christmas songs from 6.30pm to 7pm and Community Uke will perform again from 7.15pm to 8.30pm.
