A concerned neighbour having to fill in for Social Services?
Message from Anita Weeks in Weston Lullingfields.
This is a request on behalf of a resident of the village who will soon be discharged back home (Weston Lullingfields) after a fall (possibly a stroke as well). She has been assessed as having mental capacity and being ready to return home.
She needs a care package to help her morning and evening with personal care (shower/hair wash, etc); checking medication is taken and whether any help is needed with meals. She has a stairlift and walks unsteadily with the help of a frame.
So far Social Services have been unable to locate any care providers who work in this area and/or have capacity to provide a carer.
Does anyone know of a local person or agency working in this area who can provide such care? Please ring 01939 261293 to advise availability and charges.
