A history of Shropshire in Maps, from the Black Death to Brezhnev

 

 Nick Millea, Maps Librarian,

Bodleian Library, Oxford

 

Nick Millea has been responsible for the Bodleian's collection of 1.3 million maps since 1992 and is the author of The Gough Map: the earliest road map of Great Britain and Street Mapping. He plans to focus on and discuss in some detail half a dozen or so maps with a distinctly Salopian flavor.
