I have received an email from someone on the mailing list:-
"I just deleted a message from you which seemed to use your name but it was definitely spam".
I am afraid our email addresses are all over the internet for all the many organisations we are involved in so you will have to judge whether an incoming mail is dodgy. I do try to make it clear in the subject box.
