Courses to be held at Qube, Oswestry - Also Photography competition

Dear Blogger

Message from Qube in Oswestry.

Latest news from Qube...

A very Happy New Year to you all! We hope you enjoy the arts, creativity and wellbeing events we have lined up for you.

We are excited to introduce a number of new tutors and speakers to our courses and events programme. Mixed media artist, Jan Garner will show us ways of using vibrant colours, Wirral-based Ian Fennelly guides us in vibrant pen and wash and Vic Bearcroft in pastel. We welcome ceramicist, Madeleine Vale with her wonderful quirky animals and members of the Oswestry branch of the Embroiderers Guild, will be showing us some stitching techniques.

New for 2020 is a series of printing and photography courses workshops to coincide with the Qube Photography competition (see below). For crafters, we have an origami course with Paul Kielty and a chance to make a porcelain flower tile with Georgie Wright. Suzanne Iuppa returns with her inspiring creative writing course, as does Sarah Gathercole with a brand new art history programme. For those looking to get online we have a series of beginners courses that will help you to get to grips with laptops, tablets and iPads. And finally, to keep you feeling positive, balanced and focused we have wonderful tuition in Tai chi, Pilates, Mindfulness and singing.

Our events programme helps fund QubeÆs services including Arts, Dial-a-Ride, Social Clubs, Befriending, Home Shopping and Volunteering.

Thank you from Qube!
