576 Bus service during Walford/Baschurch road closure (April 2022)
Between 9th and 24th April, the road between Walford Heath and Shrewsbury Rd, Baschurch will be closed due to Severn Trent Water road works. Both Ruyton XI Towns and Baschurch Parish Councils have been liaising with Severn Trent, Shropshire Council, and Arriva to ensure alternative arrangements were made for the 576 bus service between Oswestry and Shrewsbury during this road closure.
Arriva have now confirmed that the 576 service will go through Yeaton (the same route as for the 12.45 service from Oswestry via Yeaton). The timetable will remain the same, but the unfortunately the bus will not stop at Walford College or Walford Nursery between 9th and 24th April 2022. Normal service will resume on Monday 25th April when students are back after the Easter school holidays.
