Next weekend sees the last two NGS gardens open this season in Shropshire. The newsletter will be taking a break until we begin all over again in February 2023 when the snowdrops will, once again, herald the start of spring.

Many of our gardens take payment by card reader as well as cash. However, it is sometimes difficult to connect to 4G or Wifi in our rural areas so please be understanding if old-fashioned cash is the only way to pay on the day.
Over 550 volunteers support the opening of the gardens in the National Garden Scheme. From making delicious cakes and serving teas to promoting the gardens and manning the gate, there are lots of ways to get involved. Find out more by clicking here.
It just remains for me to say a huge thank you to all our garden owners and volunteers for their hard work and dedication, helping us to raise much needed and much appreciated funds for our nursing charities. It goes without saying, however, that none of this would be possible without the kindness and generosity of our garden visitors. Every time you visit a garden, you donate funds to the nursing charities that we rely on to be there in times of need. You can find our more about our beneficiaries, the work they do and how much your donations mean to them by clicking here.
On behalf of the National Garden Scheme, THANK YOU. We'll see you again next year but, in the meantime, keep well and stay warm!
