SAVED, Whittington Music Festival

Message from Whittington Music Festival

Whittington Festival 2023 is going ahead!

Thanks to you, our amazing supporters and Friends, we are close to the target of £15,000. Donations are still coming in, so if you didn't manage to donate before the Jan 5th deadline, it's not yet too late to contribute to the success of this year's festival.
Publicity
We now need to sell as many tickets as possible. Our data shows that word of mouth is the strongest means of promoting the festival, but we only have half the number of postal addresses compared to email addresses. So if you would like flyers to give to friends and family, and don't already receive them, or if you are able to distribute some more widely in your community, please reply to this email.
Tickets

Priced at £18 for the main concerts, these will go on sale next month, both online as well as in Oswestry and Whittington. There will be no booking fee for online sales, and anyone under the age of 26 will be admitted free. Festival Passes giving access to all concerts will cost £65; tickets for the family concert will cost £10.  For the Thursday film screening book directly at Kinokulture. Full details will follow soon.
Volunteer drivers

As most musicians will arrive by train, we need volunteers to drive them between Bronygarth and Whittington or Oswestry for rehearsals, concerts and other events, from Wednesday May 17th to Sunday May 21st. If you would like to help in this way, please reply to this email.
Save the date!
