New Art exhibition at Qube

Message from Charlotte Jackson at Qube.

I have had my knuckles rapped for using the definite article before Qube so apologies all round.

New Exhibition at Qube
30th January - 10th March

A group of watercolour painters from areas of Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales reflect on the centenary of WW1, inspired by the paintings of war artists and the words of war poets.

The medium of ink has been selected by the artists for its ability to convey the stark desolation of WW1 battlefields. These works communicate visually through spontaneous images which reflect the savage, senseless warfare.

Friday 7th February
An evening performance of poetry written by Wilfred Owen and other WW1 poets to accompany the Lost Horizons exhibition. Free admission but please RSVP.
