Early years provision                                                                                                                                                   Outstanding

And here's another aspect judged Outstanding:-

Personal development and welfare

The school's work to promote pupils' personal development and welfare is outstanding.

Leaders support for pupils' personal development and welfare is outstanding. Pupils have a strong understanding of how to stay safe.

In addition, they appreciate the importance of living healthy lifestyles which promote their physical and mental well-being.

Knowing how to stay safe is important. Staff work hard at this, especially safety on-line.

During a recent safety audit I asked a small group of children if there was anything about safety that they found upsetting.

I was amazed when one little lad said "yes".

He explained that the fire alarm test went off during Breakfast Club recently and when they all came back inside he found it upsetting that his cornflakes had gone soggy!

But that was the only concern ??

Many thanks to the many parents who completed a Parent View Report – these reports were very helpful.
