Gardens open for the NGS this weekend

Message from Allison, NGS Shropshire publicity - we all visit other people`s gardens to get ideas for our own patch.

Tickets available for Shropshire gardens this weekend
There are four Shropshire gardens open for the National Garden Scheme this weekend: 2 brand new gardens to the Scheme and 2 old favourites - I do hope you'll be able to come along and help us raise money for our nursing and caring charities, thank you.

Rorrington Lodge: Saturday 15th May (2-5.30pm), Rorrington, nr Chirbury (pictured below); wonderful country garden with magnificent views of surrounding countryside; opening for the first time for the National Garden Scheme; refreshments & plant stall; tickets in advance or pay on the gate: https://ngs.org.uk/view-garden/42180

The National Garden Scheme raises money for caring and nursing charities including Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Parkinson's UK, The Queens Nursing Institute, Horatio's Garden, Maggie's Centres, The Carers' Trust and MIND, the mental health charity.  The National Garden Scheme also supports gardening apprenticeships and community garden schemes
