Last night two young men wearing lots of red over jackets, knocked on our door, even though the curtain was drawn across the door. They asked if they could talk to me about the Red Cross. "Send me an email" I said. OK they replied, without making a note of my email address, and went on their way.
Someone on the mailing list had a chap knock on the door offering to do handyman jobs. Given details of a small job, he said he would return the next day - over a week later he has not returned.
I don`t like knockers on the door, and send them packing.
