Summer Social and 10 Minute Plays | | |
Thank you to everyone who submitted a 10 minute script, we have received some fabulous entries and are looking forward to getting them off the page. Due to the number of entries received we have decided to split the readings over two sessions. LADS Summer Socials Saturday 19th July 2025 - Llanymynech Village Hall 18:30pm Join us for an evening of 10 min play readings and social get together. Sunday 27th July 2025 - Pant Memorial Hall 14:30pm Join us for an afternoon session of 10 min play readings and a social get together All welcome at one, or both, we hope to see you there. Bar will be available Please bring and share any nibbles you might like. Sunday 20th July 2:00pm Feeling festive? Its a Wonderful Life - play reading and casting Pant Village Hall Would you like to get involved in our next production? LADS will be performing a stage adaptation of the Christmas classic, 'Its a Wonderful Life'. Performances are planned for 28th, 30th November and 5th, 6th, 7th December. Roles for all ages and lots of opportunity to be involved both on and off stage. Why not come along and find out more... | |

Our friends at Stage Five have the following events coming up: Play Reading A Mirror by Sam Holcroft A Mirror is an elusive, explosive play interrogating censorship, authorship and free speech. Pant Memorial Hall Thursday 10th July 2025 19.30pm Mask workshop for adults Run over two evenings it is important to come to both sessions Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th July 2025 Pant Memorial Hall 7.00 - 9.30pm both nights £30 for the two sessions Book Workshop Now | Roleplay Theatre Workshop ( Llanymynech's Youth Theatre) are presenting 'Chip Shop Rock' - a fun musical play packed full of great Elvis classic songs… and quite a few chips ! Sunday 13th July 2.30pm and 7pm at Llanymynech Village Hall Tickets £5 adults £3.50 children Tickets available from Village Hall or Helen Chapman There will be a bar and refreshments (cash only please) There will also be the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Helen's newly published children'a book Midsummer Moondance (first edition discounted copies £5.50) at the show .
