It became apparent at the Quiz that some people are not sure how the Century Club works.
There are 100 numbers for sale at £12 per year
Each month, three numbers are drawn, with the three winners receiving £25, £10 and £5 respectively (as the list above)
The December Draw is made just before Christmas and has more prizes, and some are bigger - £100, £25, £20, £10 and £5
The mathematicians amongst you will have calculated that income is £1,200 and outgoings are £600
The balance is income for the Village Hall Charity and helps maintain the buildings etc.
We still have a few numbers for sale - if they are not sold, then Trustees of the Village Hall Charity normally buy them to keep the "books" straight.
