I have been sent a free medal commemorating the Queen's 90th birthday by a company called Tower Mint Ltd. They hope that I will take local orders and become part of their "Sales Team". Whilst I am not a great supporter of this type of marketing it may be that there are local people who would like to order a medal - so here goes. It is described as "32mm solid gilding medal in a blue card background all in a perspex case" Pricing is complicated - minimum order quantity is 50 at £1.99 each plus £7.50 postage. So £2.14 each. Or between 10 and 49 the same plus a £10 admin charge. So 10 would be £3.74 each. I am happy to collect a list of names/orders so long as I am certain how many people want them. Delivery is in about 6 weeks they say. Anyone is welcome to see my medal.
