Message from Avril Sanders-Royle, Brownhill.
Everyone is invited to tonight's Parish Council meeting at 7.30 as Councillor Davenport, the person responsible for roads in Shropshire will be there. The venue is the Victoria Rooms. In a letter to him from the Ruyton Safer Roads Group it was stated:
The Safer Roads Group will be recommending to the Parish Council that it joins the Campaign to ensure 20 mph speed limits in all urban areas across Shropshire and that the Parish Council should adopt a policy of seeking to ensure that there is a 20 mph speed limit throughout Ruyton XI Towns. Please arrange for details of the processes necessary to achieve this and the costings to be forwarded.
As there are so many issues with traffic in the village, especially the recent serious collision between a child cyclist and a vehicle, I would urge all to attend especially parents.
