Dear Blogger

A message from the Safer Roads Group Have you noticed the traffic counters? They are the pairs of rubber tubes laid across the road and linked to streetlight columns and there are three of them in Ruyton XI Towns (on Brownhill, Church Street and Olden Lane). The equipment is being used to measure the speeds and weights of vehicles going through the village and is part of the work being done to make best use of the Community Infrastructure Levy money that was awarded by Shropshire Council.
