A Virtual Tour of Oswestry

Dear Blogger

Message from Jane Davies, Oswestry U3A.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Oswestry's local history, or have a bit of fun, discovering something new and interesting about our market town? Then why not join us for a couple of hours on Wednesday, June 2, when Oswestry Borders u3a members, Dave Stirling and John Scorer, will present an illustrated 'Virtual Tour of Oswestry', sharing some fascinating facts and stories about Oswestry through the ages.

This online Zoom presentation by one of our 20+ interest groups is not exclusive to u3a members – it is an invitation to all members of the general public, and is a good opportunity for newcomers to understand more about group sessions.

You will need Internet access and an email, and either a laptop, pc, tablet, or even a mobile phone. You don't need any app or program. Email oswestrybordersu3afb@gmail.com and we will send you a Zoom link, which you just click to join in. As we are expecting a good response, we ask that all participants join us 15 minutes before the virtual tour starts, i.e. 1.45 p.m. for 2 p.m.start.
