Qube has TWO brand new video editing workshops coming up this June. These two hour online Zoom workshops will give an introduction to video editing on either Shotcut or iMovie. Both workshops also come with a 40 minute one-to-one session for each person.

Shotcut: Monday 7th June, 2:30pm – 4:30pm

iMovie: Wednesday 16th June, 10:30am – 12:30pm

Both workshops will look at:

Simple video and audio editing tools and techniques
Creating short sequences
Adding text
Exporting finished pieces

About the workshop leaders:

Nick (she/her) and Mike (he/him) from Piece of String Media are award-winning filmmakers. Their work has screened at international festivals and been broadcast on TV. They've delivered diverse commissions for local and national charities, museums, and arts, community, and heritage organisations, to help raise awareness and promote inspiring projects.

They deliver workshops and projects on every aspect of the filmmaking process, from introductory to advanced, and offer bespoke training and support to individuals and organisations.
