We continue with a very busy programme of open gardens in Shropshire, with so much support for our nursing charities, thanks to everyone who has been braving the weather! There are tickets available for this weekend's gardens and we have some mid-week "specials" open next week! Let's hope the weather cheers up soon!

Goldstone Hall: nr Market Drayton, open on Wednesday 26th May (12-5pm); delightful country garden packed with interest including double herbaceous border and huge productive garden. Tickets to these gardens are all available separately, either in advance via the NGS website or pay on the gate on the day. |  | | More gardens open over May Bank Holiday weekend Beaufort, Telford, open Saturday 29th May (10-5pm): (pictured below) a unique garden for the National Garden Scheme! If carnivorous plants are your thing, then come and visit our National Collection of Sarracenia (pitcher plants); also over 100 different Venus flytrap clones (Dionaea muscipula), Sundews (Drosera) and Butterworts (Pinguicula.) - over 6000 plants in total. Large greenhouses at Telford's first carbon negative house; a great place to visit - kids will love it! The Gardener's Lodge, Wellington, open on Sunday 30th May (9.30-4.30pm); beautifully designed urban garden in the heart of Wellington; gorgeous colours throughout with different themed areas: Mediterranean, Cottage, Indian etc but, seamlessly, each section merges and leads into the next developing idea.
