Entries for this years Qube Open are coming in fast as the deadline for the closing date approaches. This popular competition is attracting entries eager to be part of the Qube Open exhibition and to have a chance at the cash prize. It’s not too late to get your entries in. The theme this year is ‘Journey’ and any medium of work is welcome.
In recent years the Qube Open has attracted entries and visitors from as far as London, Swansea and Isle of Wight. It’s also a great chance for local and emerging artists to show off their talents.
During the exhibition, visitors to the gallery also have the opportunity to vote for their favourite piece in the gallery. The winner of the People’s Choice prize wins exhibition space in Qube Gallery in 2015.
The exhibition of shortlisted entries will be held at Qube from 11th September to 31st October 2014. All entries should be in at Qube by 31st July 2014. Entry packs are available from www.qube-oca.org.uk, by emailing art@qube-oca.org.uk or by calling Qube on 01691 656882.
