Tourism is not just for visitors!

Although Oswestry Tourism Association work hard to `sell` our area to people across Britain,  the Tourist Information Centres at the Heritage Centre (behind St. Oswald`s Church) and at Mile End roundabout, also have a great deal of information of interest to local people.

We have lots of local books for sale, some nice new decoupage cards, locally made honey & mustard.

Buy tickets for
Big Cigar theatre at the Marches School, they usually do something once a year.

The cafe at the Heritage Centre serves delicious cakes and lunches.

January to April
WWI exhibition of art and writings on the effects of war - `Dead Men Talking`

Oswestry calition for Peace - `Men who Refused to fight`

There are also monthly exhibitions by local artists and craftspeople.

            So, use your local Tourist Information Centre!
