New Menu Items
We are always working on and evolving our menu items so do keep an eye on our website for our menus (when I get a chance to update it - see article on right!).

Some recent additions you may or may not have seen or tried!
  • Oven baked Camembert with roasted garlic
  • Potted crab and prawns
  • Duck liver parfait with orange marmalade
  • Smoked mackerel salad with beetroot, egg, apple and dill miso dressing
  • Chicken wrapped in bacon with new potatoes, sauteed leeks and mushrooms and a white wine sauce
  • Duo of duck - pan fried breast and crispy 5 spice wonton - with fondant potato, sauteed spring cabbage and orange sauce
  • Slow roast belly pork with black pudding, mustard mash, spinach, textures of apple, crispy prosciutto and pork belly jus
  • Beetroot and lavender iced parfait
  • White chocoltae pannacotta with strawberry jelly

We have had a few personnel changes here at
The Navigation Inn in recent weeks, which gives us the chance to look for new members of staff who are interested in working with us.

  • Experienced Waiting on / Bar Staff
  • Kitchen Assistant / Junior / Apprentice
We are looking for experienced waiting on / bar staff to help us to continue to deliver what we hope is great customer service.  It could be a full time position or a position filled by several people, but the right person / people will be friendly and enthusiastic and great with customers.  Front of House experience of working in a restaurant / bar would be preferred, but applicants must be 18 years or over with their own transport.

In the kitchen, we also have the opportunity for a person who can help with food preparation and service.  This may be a role for someone with experience who wants to fill a few hours a week or may be a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn and develop kitchen and cooking skills, possibly with the aim of becoming a chef.  Own transport is once again essential.
