 | | | | | Burn's Night Friday 27th January 2017
We are delighted to announce that Burn's Night will be celebrated at Moor Farm on 27th January 2017. In addition to the Haggis, Pipers, Whiskey (amongst other drinks) and entertainment, we will be joined by the highly acclaimed Hijinx Ceilidh Band who will be performing after dinner and leading us all in a spot of reeling. The evening will start at 7pm with a four-course dinner. There will be a fully licensed bar operating all night. Tickets are £30 for adults and £15 for children 16 and under. There are only 150 tickets available!! Book a table of 10 and receive complimentary whiskey on the table. Tartan is highly encouraged; however, we don't want to know what's under your kilt!!  | | | | | LIVE OPERA TO BE PERFORMED AT MOOR FARM! Wednesday 8th February 2017
The highly acclaimed Pop Up Opera company are performing Rossini's The Barber of Seville at Moor Farm on the 8th February 2017 in the farm workshop. The Barber of Seville is widely recognised as one of the greatest masterpieces of comedy ever written in music. Pop Up Opera is an innovative touring company dedicated to making opera enjoyable and inviting, without losing the quality of musical performance. They aim to broaden the appeal of opera and to challenge the way opera is performed, by taking it into unusual spaces and making it fun, fresh and intimate. Performances showcase exciting new operatic talent, professional opera singers in the first stage of promising careers. Pop Up Opera aims to bring pleasure to those who are hesitant about opera, as well as dedicated opera lovers; to open the hidden door to this art form, and to make even more season opera goers fell that they have been given a secret backstage pass. The audiences can book a picnic and a fully licensed bar is available on the night. This will truly be another evening to remember at Moor Farm. Tickets are £25.
