Children in Need AUCTION
Displayed in the window of the Gallery and piquing the interest of passers-by, this elegant kinetic wind sculpture, drawing engineering and art together, is the work of metal sculptor Stan Jankowski. In an outdoor setting, this beautiful piece, named 'Viking', will vary constantly with the breeze - and, to raise money for BBC Children in Need, has been generously donated by Stan for a silent auction. Please see in the Gallery for full details of entering.

BOOK SIGNING
Saturday 18 November from 11am

We welcome Vicky Turrell, author of It's Not  A Boy, who will be at the Gallery on Saturday 18 November to sign copies of her latest book, Country Diary: Robin on my Teacup, based on a year's nature notes and a great gift to give this Christmas. Please join us in support of our local author.
OUR WINTER EXHIBITION
11 November - 6 January

Sourced by open selection and showcasing works in a rich array of media and themes, our Winter Exhibition concludes a busy year at the Willow, serving many creative processes. All works, by both established and emerging artists, are for sale unless otherwise indicated.
Also come and see a selection of paintings by Leo Donaghy who works in a variety of media and styles, often to capture the beauty of nature and bring an element of abstraction to his work.

Leo jumps between small and medium to much larger compositions, ranging from delicately-executed Chinese brush paintings to enthralling commissioned murals. He is also an engaging and talented teacher, working with both beginners and more experienced artists, and you can join him next year for an art class at the Gallery.

BIJOUX

A FURTHER SAMPLING OF ARTS & CRAFTS
Alongside BVA, celebrate wonderful arts and crafts by members of the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Craft and other talented craft-makers from Shropshire and beyond. Many original pieces (both useful and beautiful) for every taste and age - and every purchase is a work of art. Evaluation feedback on Tereska's 1-day INTERPRETING WOODLANDS Workshop (30 October 2017)

'As always, Tereska's materials and handouts were comprehensive and stimulating. The variety of techniques she showed us was inspirational, and I found her use of oil pastels with watercolour washes on top particularly effective. The following day I used this technique when painting a chestnut tree in autumn colours. The resulting textures were just what I wanted.

'I found this course excellent in all aspects, and always find Tereska's constructive comments helpful in developing my painting.'

Gift vouchers and other gift ideas
Gift vouchers are available at the Willow Gallery. They can be bought for any amount and be redeemed in both the Gallery and the Shop. Booking a place for a friend on one of our artist-run workshops can also make an original and rewarding gift - or treat a music-loving friend or family member to a ticket for one of our live music events.

Gift vouchers are also available for the Willow Eatery and a lovely way to make someone's day.
