Great news from the National Gardens Scheme

Dear Blogger

Many thanks to all of you who have taken our excess Eryngium alpinum Blue Star   There will be lots more plants for sale at Brownhill House Nursery later in the spring - all procedes go to the NGS.

Great news from George Plumptre, Chief Executive of the National Gardens Scheme

I am delighted to be able to tell you about our 2021 donations which we are announcing later this morning at the same time as publishing our Impact Report 2021 which contains full details about our beneficiaries and the donations, as well as other information about our 2021 activities. The headline is that we are donating £3 million to our beneficiary charities in 2021 and so returning to pre-pandemic levels of funding.

Brownhill House Garden will be open again in 2022, on 23rd April, 24th May and 28th June

But remember, we are open by appointment from the end of April to July, so if you want to book in  a group during that time, just let me know.

Community Gardens Award might be something of interest to the local villages.
