Live Music & Dancing at The Willow Gallery

We are now on the mailing list of the Willow Gallery in Willow Street, Oswestry where they not only have art exhibitions a cafe but also put on music and dancing  in the evenings.

CEILIDH with The DEVIL`S CHAIR CEILIDH BAND
Friday 15th November – 8pm. Doors open 7.30pm
Join us for our special Autumn Ceilidh. 
The Devil’s Chair Band has been formed from experienced musicians' and singers who wanted to blend their own styles into a toe tapping and memorable selection of English/Welsh/Scottish and Irish music.  Offering an eclectic mix of tunes and songs to entertain for the whole evening whilst guiding dancers through a variety of dances.  Featuring Andy Jones (fiddle), Andrew Norman (concertina/vocals), John Evans (guitar/vocals) and Hilary Evans (bodhran/caller.)  
Tickets £ 7. Please book in advance due to limited tickets.
The Ceilidh will be in the Dunbabin Room, adjacent to the gallery and will be a bring your own bottle event, with soft drinks available.

SONGDOG 
Friday 29th November – 8pm. Doors open 7pm

Songdog is centred around Lyndon Morgans (award-winning singer/songwriter & playwright) along with Karl Woodward, Dave Paterson and Jasper Salmon, whose delicate, stripped-down instrumentation surrounds intricate stories of life, love and loss. They have received great press reviews and airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, Arctic Circle & Resonance amongst others and appeared at international festivals in Japan, Canada, Spain & Sweden.

THE GREGORY S DAVIES BAND 
Friday 20th December – 8pm. Doors open 7pm
Back by Popular Demand!
A sell out success when they first performed at the Willow, we are looking forward to welcoming back The Gregory S. Davies Band. Fronted by singer-songwriter and multitalented musician Gregory Davies accompanied by drums, fiddle, guitar and bass. The band have diverse styles encompassing gypsy jazz, folk, latin, blues, boogie-woogie and Americana. A unique sound and wonderful original lyrics. An uplifting experience from these ‘nice guys’ as recently described at the Shrewsbury Folk Festival.

For all Main Gallery performances The Willow Eatery will be offering a delicious selection of home cooked meals, desserts, light bites, alcoholic beverages, hot drinks and soft drinks.
 Tables for these evenings will be limited and on a first come first served basis, therefore bookings for food from 7.00pm onwards are taken and pre-orders are required.
