Just had an email from Santa giving his itinerary for this year's pre-Christmas visit.
This is his tour round the Village to check out which little boys and girls have been good.
His visit is scheduled for Wednesday December 17th.
Leaving School Road / Grugg Hill/Park Gates at
about 5:00pm
Then around the Drs' Meadow Estate
Then over the road by the Cross to Hall Farm Estate
After a very difficult about-turn he then goes East along the B4397
Some of his grown-up Elves might drop into the Talbot for a Winter Warmer.
He then turns left into the Grove cul-de-sac - another difficult place to turn.
Lots of Elves drop into Cafe Eleven in the Memorial Hall - mince pie etc! - the turn takes a while.
Then along Church Street up to Little Ness Road and around the Birch Grove/Close Estate.
Back to the B4397 East (bit of a scamper for his reindeer so that he doesn't hold up too much traffic)
Left into The Quillets Estate
Then on to Marches Meadow Estate
Lastly, the rush back to Cafe Eleven for more mince pies!
Any grown-ups who want to help can be issued with a bucket for collection (in aid of Village Hall Maintenance)
Little Elves can have their costume judged by Santa in the Cafe - a tin of sweeties for the best-dressed.
Santa always has a good supply of lollipops for all the good children he meets on the way - on sticks to eliminate chocking risk and wrapped to keep them clean - Santa always does a Risk Assessment!
