Christmas Market 14^th December 11am until 3pm

 On Sunday 14th December there is a brand new Christmas market coming to Oswestry town centre.  Stuart and Jenny Jones of Asterley Events, who run the popular farmers market in the Square Shrewsbury, have teamed up with Oswestry Town Council to run a Christmas Market on Bailey Street.

There will be over 25 high quality food, drink and craft stalls of a wide variety that will certainly supply your Christmas gifts.  There will be hot food available with a hog roast, crepes and Far Eastern inspired curries. There will also be plenty of gold award winners attending including Heathers Harvest chutneys and preserves, Nourish vegetarian food, Shropshire Honey, Empire Cake Co, authentic Victorian hand- made butter churned on site and local favourite Aunty Mo’s scotch eggs.

For those looking for craft gifts the market has the world’s only witch photographer Steve Hooker, jewellery by Philip Tulley, decorations by Clanbrook Crafts, vintage gifts by Julie O'Neill  and country clothing by Egan Sheepskins.

 There will be something for everyone on the day and it will create an amazing atmosphere. Other local shops will be open on the day so a great day to do your Christmas shopping in Oswestry
