Brownhill House Garden open

The last Brownhill House Garden opening for the National Gardens Scheme in 2017 - come and see us in high summer.

Tuesday 27th June is Brownhill House in Ruyton X1 Towns, Shrewsbury (SY4 1LR) from 1.30-5pm. Admission £4 with children free. Home-made teas available. Visits also available by arrangement from May to July, individuals or groups.

Flowers and herbaceous planting cascade down this unique and sloping hillside garden. Bordering the River Perry, the garden has undergone many changes in the last year increasing the wide variety of planting styles from formal terraces to woodland paths.  Magnificent, mature trees provide shade and eclectic items from the owners' many trips abroad spark further interest. There is also a large kitchen garden to admire and an amazing physical chess set! Come along to view the collection of kit cars on show or admire the views with a cup of tea and slice of home-made cake.
