MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE WEST FELTON BRANCH OF THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION

 

Dear friends, colleagues, e-mail contacts and supporters of  the Royal British Legion.

 

I know it's only April, but I need your help in raising money for the Legion's Poppy Appeal.  I have signed up for this year's Royal British Legion Pedal to Paris cycle ride, which will see about 300 cyclists leave London on 5th September and arrive in Paris 4 days and 460 kilometres (about 275 miles) later.  

 

As well as being a personal challenge, the Legion uses our individual efforts as a means of fundraising, and each entrant is expected to raise at least £800 in sponsorship.

 

Attached to this e-mail is a press release which includes a link to my Donations page on JustGiving.com.  Sponsorship through this page is the preferred method, but you can also sponsor me with a cash donations through West Felton Branch members.   

 

I (and the Legion) will be grateful for any help you can give, and the encouragement of your sponsorship will help me through the discomfort(!) of training and 4 days in the saddle!
