Since the number of Nominations for Parish Councillors did not exceed the number of seats to be filled in either Parish Council there will be no need for a Contested Poll on Election Day (2nd May)

Councillor Nomination for Ruyton XI Towns Parish Council are as follows, and since there are only 8 to fill 11 vacancies, all will be appointed Councillors, leaving three vacancies. The new Council will have to decide how to set about filling these vacancies when it starts work in May. At our Parish Council Meeting last night (8th April) we offered huge thanks to our five retiring Councillors and welcomed our two new Councillors.
