Young Shakespeare Nation, our journey through all 36 of Shakespeare’s plays, continues this summer with Henry IV Parts I & II in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Following the hugely successful broadcast of Richard II to over 30,000 students last November, UK schools will be able to watch Henry IV Parts I & II for FREE, broadcast directly to their classrooms.

How to take part:  If you haven't registered yet then register now for the broadcasts which take place on 6 and 30 June. You can choose either to register for one or both. The broadcasts include a live, interactive Q&A with actors and members of the creative team and will take place from 9am - 1.30pm.

The broadcasts are available FREE to all UK schools but in order to secure your place you must register

Supporting resources to help you prepare your students for the broadcast will also be available to download prior to the screening.

  • CPD in your school: You don't need to come to us, we can come to you!  We can run a course at a venue of your choice for up to 25 staff. Or you may prefer to come to Stratford-upon-Avon. A CPD Day is an ideal way to build the skills of a whole staff or can be a powerful focus for bringing specialist teachers together across a local area. Find out more here
  • YSN Conference: Join us for a 1-day Young Shakespeare Nation Conference in Stratford-upon-Avon on the 7 November and experience first hand the RSC's practical approaches to teaching Shakespeare.
