New clothes shop opening in Shrewsbury Market Hall

Message from Sarah Hart PR for Shrewsbury Market Hall.

New clothing outlet opens in Market Hall

A fashion and accessories boutique has opened its doors in Shrewsbury Market Hall, specialising in new ex-chain store branded clothing.

L.F. Fashions, on the main trading floor of the market, has been launched by Lynn Evans following a long career in retail.

“I’ve managed shops for other people for many years and decided it was time to launch my own business,” she said.

“I like the feel of the The Market Hall and decided it would be a good place to launch the business. Most of the lines we sell are current season and are available at up to 75 per cent below the normal retail price.”

L.F. Fashions sells discounted surplus clothing ranges that were originally made for leading UK high street stores, including nightwear and lingerie, bags, shoes and fashion jewellery. Lynn also holds clothing home parties and provides a mobile retail service to residential homes.

L.F. Fashions will be staging a fashion show in aid of cancer charites at the ‘Summer Wardrobe Bargains’ fundraising event at Edgmond Village Hall on Wednesday May 21. The event, which kicks off at 7pm, is being organised by the Inner Wheel of Newport. Entry costs £3.

For further information on home parties Lynn can be contacted on 0796 981 5808.

About the Market Hall:

The Market Hall is a two-tier, indoor market hall situated in the heart of Shrewsbury Town Centre.

It is jointly run by managing agent Jones Lang LaSalle, which is responsible for the permanent stalls located around the perimeter of the market floor and gallery, and Shrewsbury Town Council which manages the canopied stalls in the centre.

The Market Hall is situated above a range of well known high street and independent retailers. Busy trading streets, Shoplatch and Claremont Street, run either side of the building.

It opened in 1965 and is today home to many traders offering a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and poultry, fresh fish, delicatessen, a selection of eateries, books, china, antiques, collectables and contemporary arts and crafts and much more.
