Scarecrows you might have missed

Weston Lullingfields Scarecrow Day was really brilliant.  The children, 5 & 7, enjoyed spotting them from the car and then having a better look when we walked round.   Teas at both ends of the walk is what I like, especially with such gorgeous cakes.

DON`T MISS THE NEXT WESTON LULLINGFIELDS SCARECROW DAY!

Message from John Russell.

My wife, Corinne, told me that you'd been round the scarecrows and called in for a coffee - sorry I missed you - we had such a fun day - lots of people came despite the gloomy forecast which was nowhere near as bad as predicted thank goodness.
I spoke to several visitors from Ruyton - thanks so much for helping with publicising this local event.
We raised £500 for our village church.

The entries were amazing - the theme was A Day at the Movies - here are a few photos
JOINT FIRST WERE -

Warhorse by Wyn and Pat Goddard

Wallace and Gromitt by The Baker family

The Popular vote winner was -
The iInvisible man - by Martin and Sarah Richards - brilliant!
They also did The Flintstones which was awarded 3rd prize by the judges
The Flintstones
I don't know where M&S find the time to both have busy jobs and run the Baschurch Allotment Association, dogs, chickens manage a chunk of woodland etc etc!

With best wishes, John and Corinne Russell.
