Children`s Film Show

Message from Colin Case.

Next week seems to be a bit wetter - so a good time for a Film Show
I am planning 2:00pm on Thursday 7th August in the Parish Hall.

Open to all children of Primary School age - accompanied by a responsible adult.
The main film will be a cartoon suitable for that age - good colour and lots of animals.
It will be supported by a "B" film - a 4 minute extract from a RATS Panto - The Three Pigs - starring an ex-TA at our local school - you can guess who!
Always a good laugh - the youngsters will love it.

Like all film showings there will be a few adverts.
For this year's Panto, the Home Grown Show and the Village Hall itself - complete with its Sound System, HD Projector and HUGE Screen - and seats with cushions.

As well as entertaining the children we are keen to show adults what a great place the Hall can be for Private Parties - whether 8 or 80 years old.

Entrance is free but we would appreciate a donation towards Hall Hire.
Refreshments will be on sale for children and adults.

I haven't timed the films, but I think the session will be 2 to 2 1/2 hours long.

I will have a couple of laptops from the Broadplace so that children can record Bingo Calls or do some Creative Writing if they want - see previous emails.
There will be no Internet Connection so esafety is not an issue.

I hold a CRB at Enhanced Level, but I am not qualified as a child-minder.

More news next week.
