Message from Karen at Cafe Eleven.
"At Cafe eleven I am always raising funds for the MS Society. MS is a very cruel, progressive neurological disease with no cure at present. Someone I love suffers with MS. Through various sales and events at Cafe eleven we have raised over £1,000 and this has been sent to the MS Society to help fund vital ongoing research.
So this week I have been humbled by the generosity of a local man, Tony Quinn. Tony is retired and in his workshop he now creates beautiful handmade clocks. He has donated one of these clocks to me to raffle in the tea room to help with our fundraising. The clock is made of oak and slate and is number 4 of a limited edition of only 10. Tickets are on sale in the tea room at £1 each or 6 for £5. Please feel free to come in and have a look at the lovely clock. "
