Advice and Guidance Event

North Shropshire College will be holding an Advice and Guidance Event on Wednesday 31st August from 4pm until 8pm at Oswestry, Shipley and Walford Campuses. If you are not sure of what to do after leaving secondary school and need help to find the course that is right for you, come along and speak to our dedicated and experienced teaching staff who will put you on the right path to success.

If you are an adult learner interested in Access to HE, vocational qualifications or leisure courses, please come along too.

College Celebrates Students' Success

Students at North Shropshire College (NSC) have celebrated the successful end to the year at the Annual Awards Evening recently at NSC's Walford Campus; the event was attended by staff, students, parents, members of the board of governors and guest of honour, the Shropshire NFU Chairman Richard Yates. 37 Awards were given to students, lecturers and staff, all celebrating their unique achievements.
Principal and Chief Executive of NSC, Jackie Doodson (front row, centre), commented 'It has been an absolute pleasure to see these students receive their awards, they have worked incredibly hard over the past year and thoroughly deserve being recognised for all their efforts at NSC. I wish them all the very best for the future.'

New Part-Time Prospectus for September


There will be a new Part-Time courses starting in September 2016, many of the College's popular courses will be returning. Courses such as Dog Handling, Yoga and IT will be available across North Shropshire and languages, Access to HE and teacher training at NSC's Oswestry Campus will be making a welcome return, legislative tests and rural skills courses with the Rural Skills Department at NSC's Walford Campus and Aspire Centre will also be available for booking.

Part-Time courses at NSC are the ideal opportunity to learn a new skill or gain a qualification. NSC has venues across Shropshire, we use the main campuses of Walford, Shipley, Oswestry and the Aspire Centre near Tenbury Wells and a variety of locations in Ellesmere, Wem, Whitchurch and Market Drayton.
