Staying alive

Message from Colin Case.

Interesting article on Sky News just now. A widow who lost her rugby-playing husband to a heart attack says she wouldn't send her children to any school that does not have an AED (defibrillator). St John's Primary School has an AED - mounted externally so that it is available to the wider community. And many members of staff are trained to use it (no great feat - it "tells" you what to do!) And CPR (Staying Alive with Vinnie Jones - you've seen the ad - https://www.nhs.uk/…/P…/vinnie-jones-how-to-perform-cpr.aspx - or Nelly the Elephant will do) There are also several trained members of our community - including me - so it MUST be simple! If everyone has this basic information it might save a local life some day
