Last night Roger and I booked a table at The Dog and to introduce ourselves to the new tenants at our local pub.
Gavin was most encouraging in that he really wants the pub to be the centre of village life, Charlotte and Gavin are both excellent waiting staff and
Gavin`s son Oliver the chef produced a tasty and well cooked and presented meal. Although the menu is fairly restricted to start with, it has both basics and something new and interesting to try.
There is a great deal to do when anyone takes over a new business, especially when they are having the upstairs converted into living accommodation.
