There will be a Murder in the Cathedral SOON Final rehearsals are now taking place for Shropshire Drama Company’s forthcoming production, with the cast working alongside the talented musicians and choirs that will be an integral part of the play.   Please buy your tickets NOW and urge your friends and relations to come and see the production. It is full of drama and promises to be a unique experience for actors and performers. Don't miss out! The performances will take place at five Shropshire churches throughout the county from 18 - 26 October as follows: 18 - St Laurence’s, Ludlow 19 - St Mary Magdalene, Albrighton 24 - St Mary’s, Shrewsbury 25 - St Alkmund’s, Whitchurch 26 - Holy Trinity, Oswestry.   Tickets for Murder in the Cathedral are £7 and available to book online at www.wegottickets.co.uk/murder or at the following outlets in each of the towns where the performances are taking place: St Laurence’s Church Shop, Ludlow Mogul Diamonds, Albrighton Pengwern Books, Shrewsbury Market Hall Bookshrop, Whitchurch and Booka, Oswestry   Auditions for our Summer 2014 production   THE TAMING OF THE SHREW We have two audition nights coming up very soon and if you'd like to be involved in the production in any way, please come along. The play will be performed in Much Wenlock in June next year and we are looking for people to take part as cast or crew. If you're an experienced thesp or just looking to make a start in the world of drama, please don't hesitate to come forward. The auditions will take place at MARTIN WILSON SCHOOL, SHREWSBURY on: Monday, 28th October. 7.30pm Tuesday, 5th November, 7.30pm You can choose which evening suits you best to attend. If you are unable to come to either evening, but would still like to be involved, get in touch with us on shrops.drama.co@btinternet.com and we'll pass on your details to the play's director, Beverley Baker.     Play Readings Play readings take place alternate months They start at 7.30pm, but feel free to drop in They are open to ANYONE. You don't have to read - it is OK if you'd just like to come along and listen The focus is on sharing plays socially - they're just for fun! There's no play reading this month We'll be returning in November - Save the Date: Wednesday, 20th November at the Lion Hotel, Shrewsbury The next play reading will have a comedy theme Membership of the SDC Membership subscriptions are now due - thanks to all those that have already paid If you are not a member, and would like to join us, ask for a form and we'll send you one, via email or mail  Please get in touch with Emma for more information at shrops.drama.co@btinternet.com
