Derwen COLLEGE Garden Centre

Message from Allison Heward, Derwen College.

Roger and I have been to the Derwen College Garden Centre today where the whole place is in the middle of frantic activity to get ready for the grand re-launch on Saturday 5th April.

We even found a floribunda rose called Golden Wedding - must find a good spot for that!

There is a very good selection of roses, herbs, alpines and much much more, although some of the old stock is waiting for a bit of care and attention and label checking.

Do please go along to the Derwen College Enterprise for plants, presents, tools, books,  etc etc etc and refreshments in Tiffin, Betty`s or the Orangery and don`t forget to visit the craft shop and farm shop.

Sky may be grey overhead but the gardens are awash with colour at Derwen College. What’s more, Derwen’s remodelled Garden Centre will be fully operational and officially open to the public from Saturday 5 April.

As well as an extensive range of seasonal plants and planted up

baskets there are:

We have:

Fothergill & Johnson’s seeds

Yeoman & Joseph Bentley stainless steel tools – including a range of children’s tools

Briers’ gloves

Wellies & Crocs

Hozelock hosepipes & accessories

Wild bird feeders & food

Shearer candles, diffusers & gift range

Gisela Graham quality giftware: country, quirky, classic, sweet retro & nostalgic

And much, much more
