Harvest Service on Sunday October 5 at 9.45 am.

This year we are proposing to use harvest to help the Food Bank. We no longer have an outlet for fresh produce. Instead of fresh produce we would like to suggest that donations of non-perishable food are made to give to the food bank: UHT or powdered milk, sugar (500g), fruit juice (carton), soup, pasta sauces, tinned sponge pudding, tinned vegetables, tinned tomatoes, tinned rice pudding, tinned meat, tinned fish, tinned vegetables, tinned fruit, cereals, instant mashed potato, tea bags, instant coffee, rice, pasta, jam, biscuits, snack bars. Items can be brought to church or given to members of the PCC. This will be a very good way to support people affected by the current financial situation.

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH, WESTON LULLINGFIELDS EVENTS IN NOVEMBER

Saturday November 8 – Christmas Fayre - Village Hall 2.00 to 5.00

We will have stalls selling Christmas items, chocolate, jewellery, Usborne books, cakes and produce, beauty therapy and lots more. We will also have the recycled presents stall – so please look out for any new items you have bought or received and which you no longer want. This stall has been very popular in the past.

Also we would be most grateful for donations of cakes, traybakes and produce (jam, marmalade, etc.)

Teas and raffle too.

Contact 261293 or 261464 for more details or if you would like a table for £5.00.

Saturday November 15 – Operation Christmas Child boxes – Village Hall 2.00 to 5.00

This is a repeat from previous years’ very successful afternoons. The idea is that people can bring donations, shoe boxes, wrapping paper or all three and pack and wrap the boxes together. We will be collecting things from October if you are not able to join us in the Village Hall. Previous sessions have produces 20 to 25 boxes for a very worthwhile cause.

 Friday November 28th – Christmas Wreath-Making - Village Hall 7.30

We had great fun last year making Christmas wreaths. This is your opportunity to join us to make your own Christmas wreath. The price (still to be fixed) will include the wire and the wreath rings, probably about £15. Ribbons, etc can be purchased. Everyone who is interested will be asked to bring greenery (which will be shared).

Please contact Anita on 261293 or Catherine on 261464 to book a place or for more information.
