Beth is going to Senegal

Hi Everyone,

You will have seen the message I sent out today about A Christmas
Cornucopia in St. John the Baptist Church, Ruyton this Saturday 21st
December.

Beth Vucovic has grown up in Ruyton XI Towns where her father is a
teacher at Packwood Haugh School.

In her second year at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College studying History
Politics and Music, Beth has decided to spend her `year out` helping in
a school in Senegal, West Africa. Many people will have heard Beth, and
her mother Claire, playing at various events in Ruyton, such as the
Charter celebrations in 2008.

In order to take part in what will be an amazing experience, Beth has to
raise £5,600 in order to take part in this expedition organised by the
Project Trust charity (www.projectrust.org.uk) The Christmas
Cornucopia, a sponsored bike ride and "lots of busking" are just some of
her fund raising projects.

Beth has kindly agreed to send us regular updates, and hopefully some
pictures, on her fundraising and then her experiences in Africa.

I am sure you will join me in sending all best wishes to Beth for both
her fund raising and for her time in Senegal.
