Fancy treading the boards?

Message from Margaret Kynaston of Llanymynech Amateur Dramatic Society.

Dear LADS
> We are planning the LADS next production, 'Up 'n Under'
> by John Godber, which was first performed in 1984 by the Hull Truck
> Company, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for comedy. It centres on
> an amateur rugby team who can only muster a side of four and whose
> pride lies in their unbroken record of defeat. Hazel, who runs a local
> gym, is enlisted to train the lads from the Wheatsheaf Arms in their
> bid to beat the Yorkshire champions from the Cobblers Arms.
> We're
> gathering in The Bradford Arms on Thursday 2nd January at 7.30. for a
> read through. Come and read a part or listen. If you know of others who
> are interested in performing, bring them along. It promises to brighten
> the dull evenings of January and February, and will be staged on 27th,
> 28th and 29th March.
> Looking forward to seeing you very early in the
> New Year.
> Best wishes,
> Val McGrath
> Producer of Up 'n Under

P.S.  Can I also remind you about the social evening on Tuesday 14th January at the Village Hall.  Yummy food and drink - no entrance fee - fun company, sketches and wine - who could ask for more.  Please let me know if you are able to come: margkyn@hotmail.com or 01691 830558

Many thanks
